Drop Shippers
I know we had talked about this on the forums in the past, but I am going to say this now and hopefully nobody gets angry.
Drop Shippers are getting out of control and I need to reel them in.
In the last few weeks, I have been answering questions about the silliest things. It seems drop shipping is suddenly being marketed as a get rich quick scheme and we are one of the main vendors being listed. Now I know we have been listed in different directories for drop shipping along with our competitors for a couple of years now, but suddenly, we are being expected to teach website building 101.
I have always had the occasional question that seemed a little strange coming from somebody that is supposed to be in business, but I've been asked questions in the past week alone ranging from how does UPS work to when is Valor going to build my site.
We've been getting business licenses and tax numbers, but as you all know, on the internet, you can go into business 30 times a day as a new company.
Now, don't panic if you drop ship through us. There are a lot of you that do it and do it right. But my question to you is, how do you think Valor should reconstruct their dealer qualifications?
The holidays are here, and there seems to be a lot of people disguised as legitimate businesses that have no clue what they're doing, and we are going to have to avoid them for everyone's good.
