you can go with oscommerce which is free but you will need to buy a good template.
or you can use monster commerce or volusion which are very good carts http://www.monstercommerce.com or http://www.volusion.com ive also used 3dcart http://www.3dcart.com a very good cart.
My host offers a shoppingcart for about $49 or pro $89 per month. Sound reasonable?
